A HYMN TO HEM TO HIM
A hymn is words of glory and praise in rhyme set to music and sung from the hearts of those children who appreciate Him. In Heaven there was seen a Sea of Glass where multitudes of brethren gather in choirs. These persons are "mirror images" of His holiness. The WORD OF GOD passes from mouth to mouth echoing from the innermost depth of each heart. These "spirits" agree with the mind of God in oneness of spirit and judgment. They never stop day or night praising His name. There is power in their songs. They testify to the greatness of God, and their words have power to heal, cleanse, renew, and purify any spirit among them. "And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men though fools shall not err therein. No lion shall be there: nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: and the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away", Isaiah 35:8-10. And they sung a new song saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us kings and priests unto our God: and we shall reign on the earth", Revelation 5:9-10. Their "reign" and exercise of judgment is also by song. "Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praise of God be in their mouth, and a two-edge sword in their hand; to EXECUTE upon them THE JUDGMENT written: this honor have all the saints. Praise ye the Lord", Psalm 149:5-9. And while they sing, havoc occurs upon the earth in diverse places. "Ye shall have a song as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of the heart as when one goeth with a pipe to come to the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty one of Israel. And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard and shall show the lighting down of His arm with the indignation of His anger, and with a flame of devouring fire, with scattering and tempest and hailstones. For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian (symbolic for oppressing evil spirits) be beaten down which smote with a rod. And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and with battles of shaking shall He fight with it", Isaiah 30:29-32.
HEM
A hem is a border, the very edge and limit. God's borders are as far as north, south, east, and west extend, if that can be measured. From one end of Heaven to the other, the echo of God's praise can be heard. "Whither shall I go from thy Spirit, or where shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there," Psalm 139:7-8. "It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that strecheth out the heavens as a curtain and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in," Isaiah 41:22. Every curtain worth its name has a hemmed border. The HEM of God's garment (the Heavens) is the first heaven, the very lowest and closest to the earth. True praise, absolute understanding, and holiness extend downward from the 12th and highest Heaven to that point. Healing is there with the true "balm from Gilead", Jeremiah 8:22. If we could but touch the HEM of His garment, we could be made whole. There "Virtue" heals with every touch from her place above in that glorious "border". And faith in God's power releases her. Jesus who symbolized God and represented God in prophecy is your proof! Luke 8:43-45.
HIM
All praise in song within the HEM of Heaven and beyond is directed to HIM. HE IS ALL IN ALL!...the great everything! The word HIM is an objective (relative) pronoun, a reference of third persons (man) regarding their perception of the First Person, our Father, God. We proceeded from Him as his offsprings and the children of the Second Person, Mother Wisdom, Psalm 87; Proverbs 8:12-35; Matthew 11:19. "God made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Neither is He worshipped with men's hands as though He needed anything, seeing He giveth to all, and breath to all things. And He hath made of ONE BLOOD ALL NATIONS OF MEN for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and He hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation....for IN HIM we live and move and have our being", Acts 17:24-26,28. "For by Him all things were created that are in the heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things and by Him all things consist," Colossians 1:16-17.
Let a SONG arise in your heart. Let it be a HYMN of praise and purity in understanding and righteousness. Unseen wars will be won by it. Let it rise and touch the HEM of His "garment" that you may be healed. He is in you and you are in HIM. "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord", Psalm 150:6. If you do not sing, the rocks may cry out! And who is a harder "rock" than the so-called "sinners" that many church-goers despise? Isaiah 45:23-25; Ezekiel 36:24-29; Luke 7:39-43, 15:20-24.
