Adjusting Weights of the Balance

Egypt only acted out the plight of Satan's kingdom of darkness. Judgment has made the demons feel to a greater degree what Egypt felt.

Wisdom 11:12- For a twofold grief possessed them, and a groaning at the memory of what had occurred.

Secrets 40:8, 44:3, 49:4- And I wrote the resting places of the winds and observed and saw how their key-holders bear weighing-scales and measures; first, they put them in one weighing-scale, then in the other the weights and let them out according to measure cunningly over the whole earth, lest by heavy breathing they made the earth to rock. Blessed is the man who does not direct his heart with malice against any man, and helps the injured and condemned, and raises the broken down, and shall do charity to the needy because on the day of the great judgment every weight, every measure and every makeweight will be as in the market, that is to say, they are hung on scales and stand in the market, and every one shall learn his own measure, and according to his measure shall take his reward. And I swear to you, yea, yea, that there has been no man in his mother's womb, but that already before, even to each one there is a place prepared for the repose of that soul, and a measure fixed how much it is intended that a man be tried in this world.

Naphthali 1:16,17- And as the potter knoweth the use of each vessel, what it is meet for, so also doth the Lord know the body, how far it will persist in goodness, and when it beginneth in evil. For there is no inclination or thought which the Lord knoweth not, for He created every man after His own image.

Psalms of Solomon 5:6- "For man and his portion lie before Thee in the balance; He cannot add to, so as to enlarge, what has been prescribed by Thee." These things teach us that God has weighed our world and the invisible world in judgment.

Asher 1:1-8- "The copy of the Testament of Asher, what things he spake to his sons in the hundred and twenty-fifth year of his life. For while he was still in health, he said to them: Hearken, ye children of Asher, to your father, and will declare to you all that is upright in the sight of the Lord. Two ways hath God given to the sons of man, and two inclinations, and two kinds of action, and two modes of action, and two issues. Therefore, all things are by twos, one over against the other. For there are two ways of good and evil, and with these are the two inclinations in our breasts discriminating them. Therefore, if the soul take pleasure in the good inclination, all its actions are in righteousness and it straightway repenteth.- For having its thoughts set upon righteousness, and casting away wickedness, it straightway overthroweth the evil, and uprooteth the sin, But if it incline to the evil inclination, all its actions are in wickedness, and it driveth away the good, and cleaveth to the evil, and is ruled by Beliar; even though it work what is good, he perverteth it to evil." Every man must be talented or "heavy" enough to move the weights of devils against him. Sin is a demon. (Babylon is Shinar or sinner) Zechariah 5:5-11; Revelation 18:2,24.

An example of how this works for judgment is "TE-KEL: Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting, Daniel 5:27. The angel Gabriel was seen with God's balances, "In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote; Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation," Daniel 5:5, 9:21. "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and 10 a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine," Revelation 6:5-6. Of course we realize Belshazzar was being weighed against the forces of devils controlling him. The hand writing showed he was losing. Devils then proceeded to cause his death by assassination, "They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves, Habakkuk 1:7. In effect it served as punishment to him, "Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. For yet a little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction, Isaiah 10:24-25. But today we know Balshazzar is in glory, "Art thou not from everlasting, (Lord my God, mine Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, thou has ordained them for judgment: and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction," Habakkuk 1:12; "All the kings of the nations, even all of them lie in glory, every one in his own house," Isaiah 14:18. In other cases treachery against us by devils does not result in death, but we get opportunity to improve upon hearing the teaching voice of God's angels, "He withdraweth not His eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction: Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. He openeth also their car to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. if they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures," Job 36:7-11. In either case, God uses us as "stumbling stones" to gain a solid case against devils who eagerly commit treachery against us out of madness, "And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance," Genesis 15:13-14. "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice ye heavens and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child," Revelation 12:10-13; "Because thou hast said, these two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there: Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou bast used out of thy hatred against them: and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou has spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them," Ezekiel 35:10-13.

Because of God's power we can mock the enemy. "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me," Psalm 50:15.

Wisdom 5:1-5- Then shall the righteous man stand in great boldness before the face of such as have afflicted him, and made no account of his labours. When they see it, they shall be troubled with terrible fear, and shall be amazed at the strangeness of his salvation, so far beyond all that they looked for. And they repenting and groaning for anguish of spirit shall say within themselves, This was he, whom we had sometimes in derision, and a proverb of reproach: We fools accounted his life madness, and his end to be without honour: How is he numbered among the children of God, and his lot is among the saints!

Enoch 108:10-15- And all the blessings destined for them I have recounted in the books. And he hath assigned them their recompense, because they have been found to be such as loved heaven more than their life in the world, and though they were trodden under foot of wicked men, and experienced abuse and reviling from them and were put to shame, yet they blessed Me. And now I will summon the spirits of the good who belong to the generation of light, and I will transform those who were born in darkness, who in the flesh were not recompensed with such honor as their faithfulness deserved. And I will bring forth in shining light those who have loved My holy name, and I will seat each on the throne of his honor. And they shall be resplendent for times without number; for righteousness is the judgment of God; for to the faithful He will give faithfulness in the habitation of upright paths. And they shall see those who were born in darkness led into darkness, while the righteous shall be resplendent. And the sinners shall cry aloud and see them resplendent, and they indeed will go where days and seasons are prescribed for them."

"Weights of sin" added to Satan's side against us gives us a chance to shine, Matthew 12:44. "Talents" of understanding make us move mountains, Matthew 17:20, 25:16. Job's case is an example of how God glories in His sons who stand against devils showing God's righteousness in the face of torture, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?" Job 1:6-9; '"And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me," II Corinthians 12:9. The words of Jesus teach us that God's good qualities sparkle against the judgment of demons, "Now is my soul troubled: and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both gloried it, and will glorify it again," John 12:27-28; "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD COMETH, and hath nothing in me, John 14:30; "When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the POWER OF DARKNESS," Luke 22:53. Each man's head has served as an '"ephod" for inquiry. Devils' suggestions and questions to us are met with the voices of God's good angels acting as our good conscience, "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over," Psalm 23:5; "Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee," Ezekiel 28:3.

Thus GOD'S VOICE gave devils and us a choice between two ways, "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains: and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye", Isaiah 18:3. "After this I looked, and behold, a door was open in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter," Revelation 4:1. "Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them when I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword comes, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul, Ezekiel 33:2-5. So a "trumpet" is the angel of God speaking His word in His name. "Then answered he me, and said, This is the condition of the battle, which man that is born upon the earth shall fight: (Fleshy men were first born in heaven, Acts 10:9-20. Demons are "men of sin" born on this earth, Enoch 15:9-12, Isaiah 14:12,16-17; Ezekiel 28:9,14) That, if he be overcome, he shall suffer as thou hast said: but if he get the victory, he shall receive the thing that I say. For this is the life whereof Moses spake unto the people while he lived, saying Choose thee life that thou mayest live. Nevertheless, they believed not him, nor yet the prophets after him, nor me which have spoken unto them, That there should not be such heaviness in their destruction, as shall be joy over them that are persuaded to salvation," II Esdras 7:57-61. But devils have taken the privilege of choice from most men in many specific cases as it is written, "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin," Romans 7:14-25. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places," Ephesians 6:12. Against our enemy captors, God said, "Yea, in heart ye work wickedness: ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; which will not hearken to the voice of charmers charming never so wisely," Psalm 58:2-5; "For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity. They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper. Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the acts of violence is in their hands," Isaiah 59:3-6; '"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force," Matthew 11:12. "I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom," Daniel 7:21-22. Demons playing the Holy Ghost have given denominations heavy burdens, Luke 11:46-52.

But temptations and trials avail us an opportunity to show you God's righteousness in us before the faces of many opposing evil spirits. --" for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men," I Corinthians 4:9. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us," Hebrews 12:1. Devils have no excuse for sin having seen men stand according to the measure of faith given them for specific righteous qualities. Those who withstood devils' attempts to make them fall have shown men, angels, and devils that demons are without excuse for sin. No inner forces acted upon them and controlled them in their works as they forced their control on men. "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them. For the invisible things of the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal Godhead; so that they are without excuse," Romans 1:18-20. Christ acting in us has shown them what to do in order to avoid extermination. "He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me," Matthew 10:40. "If I had not come and spoken unto them they had not bad sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father," John 15:22-24. "Then shall he say to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Then shall he answer them saying, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me," Matthew 25:41,45. Devils' works against us have served the Judge and the Heavenly Court better than a prosecutor asking the accused to witness or confess. Demons have bowed before God's astounding Wisdom unwittingly and have given the angels evidence more reliable than a confession. So being weighed in the balance against demons has served God to damn devils returning a swift and speedy recompense on their heads, Joel 3:4. Those touching mankind touched the apple of God's eye, Zechariah 2:8. Thus, demons have all stumbled at God's '"lively stumbling stones," Isaiah 8:14-18; I Peter 2:5. "Because thou hast been astonished at what has befallen Zion, thou shalt therefore be assuredly preserved to the consummation of the times, that thou mayest be for a testimony. So that if ever those prosperous cities say: 'Why hath the mighty God brought upon us this retribution?' Say thou to them, thou and those like thee who shall have seen this evil: (This is the evil) and retribution which is coming upon you and upon your people in its (destined) time that the nations may be thoroughly smitten. And then they shall be in anguish. And if they say at that time: For how long? Thou wilt say to them: "Ye who have drunk the strained wine, drink ye also of its dregs, The judgment of the Lofty One who has no respect of person." On this account he had aforetime no mercy on His own sons, But afflicted them as His enemies, because they sinned, Then therefore, were they chastened That they might be sanctified. But now, ye people and nations, ye are guilty, Because ye have always trodden down the earth, And used the creation unrighteously. For I have always benefited you. And ye have always been ungrateful for the beneficence," II Baruch.

WISDOM

Wisdom is a dove that sings a happy song

Like an eternal spring -time that lasts so long

Wise as the sun of the brightest day

Just a crystal droplet from a waterfall's spray

Wisdom is the name that captures my soul

A haunting dream where sweet raptures unfold

Wisdom is a name with magnetic charm

A silver moon -beam to the eye-- ecstatic and warm

Wisdom is a dream that I've never known before

A key that unlocks some heavenly door

Wisdom is a rainbow shining in the blue

Another fragrant red rose coated with dew

Wisdom is the name that makes my heart stand still

Some fantastic power moving time at will

Wisdom is a name that burns my soul with fire

Just a dulcet melody from Light's singing lyre

Wisdom has a morning star that fades into day

A gold leaf on a sun -beam wind- kissed on its way

Wisdom is dark moonlight locked by clouds with nature's key

So bold, so mighty to save, who sets her children free

Glorify God!
