Our relationship must be guided by Wisdom if we are to have peace. Where envy and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work, James 3:14-16, but we are aware of the devices of Satan, and also that as growing babes, our understanding is limited. We must not allow Satan to puff us up and use our limited knowledge as know -it- all -ism to cause strife. We know in part. Therefore, there would be no need for spiritual growth to overcome our dark ignorance if we knew all things and understood all the mysteries. I have five talents and maybe my capacity in this life will be only ten, but I must be willing to hear and receive, with the understanding that I only know in part. Yet God may have 2,000 talents worth of truth, and I will still be 1,990 talents short when I die. With that in mind I received and will receive from you without despising your knowledge or being puffed up against you because my five talents came from the first five and yours came from the middle five out of God's 2,000. Let Wisdom reign among us by Her own words, "The words of a wise man are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that reigneth among fools," Ecclesiastes 9:17. I cannot force my faith on you because God teaches in the still small voice of His angels at our consciences. At the most I can only say words without power. Because Satan makes Wisdom's words hard to be perceived by puffing the hearers up in know -it- all -ism in offense and making them unacceptable to Her through pride, Wisdom refuses to teach because we agree with the haughty demon of pride. Therefore, to Her wise sons who understand this technique of Satan She wrote, "If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest thou shalt scorn alone," Proverb 9:17. Getting Wisdom is difficult because demons always teach us slanders against the speaker before and during his speech. Wisdom instructed Her wise sons against this demonism by stating, "He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame to him." In this way we can tell when the demon is speaking to our heads. Beware then of faulty judgment before hearing every matter. Because Wisdom is desired to preside over our services, we must obey this word to thwart demons if we want Her acceptance, "Keep thy foot when thou goest into the house of God and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil," Ecclesiastes 5:1. Wisdom dwells in clean temples and is able to tell when we agree with the demons' voice in our ears. We cannot expect Her to favor us and teach us alms when we make ourselves a disgrace in Her presence. She has given me this understanding that I might have peace among my brethren that have both small and great understanding. I do not look down on those who are not yet taught because She has not taught them. To criticize them would be to criticize Her for defaulting in Her job because She teaches us at Her will and in Her own good time. And Jesus said in as much as ye do this to the least of my brethren, you do it unto me. This is the salt I have and the peace I expect with you. We will not know peace except on Her terms. If I have strife in my mind, then I know the demon is with me and not with the other fellow who has peace, for peace is a sign of Wisdom. Wisdom shows Herself strong through the unity of the brethren, but Satan makes himself vile by causing division by offending our minds. Jude said, "these speak evil of things which they know not, but what they know naturally as brute beasts in those things they corrupt themselves," . Demons took advantage of me in times past and caused me to criticize certain truths, when I knew in part, which today I now believe. You can look back too on those days in your life when you thought you knew it all and see the same thing demons did to you. But our change itself indicates that we knew in part and that we have grown. MEN still know in part, but we won't allow Satan to make us criticize what is hidden truth as brute beasts, Psalm 49:20.
